Tia Troxel serves as the Manager, Sustainability at Kilroy, where she leads initiatives that advance sustainable and healthy building development. Her role encompasses overseeing building certifications, driving efficiency projects, and managing sustainability data systems to support corporate ESG reporting and performance tracking.
With a strong foundation in Green Building and Sustainable Practices, Tia brings expertise in data-driven decision-making, leveraging platforms and tools to collect, analyze, and visualize environmental performance metrics across the portfolio. She plays a key role in maintaining data integrity for third-party certifications such as LEED and Fitwel, and supports compliance with sustainability frameworks and disclosure standards.
Prior to joining Kilroy, Tia worked as a Sustainability Analyst at a consulting firm, where she conducted building energy modeling, administered commissioning processes, and managed certification workflows using specialized software.
Tia holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management and Protection from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo. She is a LEED Green Associate, Fitwel Ambassador, and WELL Accredited Professional, and continues to pursue additional credentials aligned with the evolving green building industry.
