Cia Buckley Marakovits has been a member of our Board since February 2026. She is the President, Chief Investment Officer and Co‑Owner of Dune Real Estate Partners, a New York City–based real estate investment firm, where she has served since August 2007, and brings extensive financial and investment expertise.
Ms. Buckley Marakovits is deeply engaged in nonprofit and industry leadership. She has served on the Board of Trustees of Phillips Exeter Academy since July 2019 and on the Board of Directors of the Pension Real Estate Association since July 2021. She has also held board and committee roles with several organizations, including Collegiate School, Taubman Centers, and the Urban Land Institute.
She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Lafayette College.
