Maya Hayuk Makes Her Tile Debut at West8
For the first time, Maya Hayuk's signature color, pattern, and movement leave the canvas and take shape in tile. Working with Bisazza, one of the world's foremost contemporary mosaic manufacturers, she translated one of her painted compositions into approximately 75,000 individual tiles. The result spans 329 square feet and greets everyone who comes through West8 , turning a painting into a permanent part of the building and a bright landmark in the heart of downtown.
