Columbia Square Honored with LA Conservancy's 2017 Preservation Award

Kilroy is proud to announce that our Columbia Square project has been selected as the winner of the 2017 Preservation Award by the Los Angeles Conservancy!

The award is based on outstanding achievement in the field of historic preservation in Los Angeles County. Columbia Square is uniquely historic, the site of the original Columbia Broadcast Studios' state-of-the-art recording studios and theaters, where Hollywood first planted its roots. The site gave birth to an industry of innovative engineering, sound effects, editing and film, and cemented Hollywood as the entertainment center of the universe.

Columbia Square makes a promise to the community—to honor the companies at the forefront of entertainment and technology, and to construct a space where they can incubate exceptional ideas. This project is one of our proudest achievements, by blending historical reuse with new construction we’ve preserved the architectural character of a Hollywood classic and put it to work for tomorrow. We’re thrilled to have tenants who appreciate the history behind it, and we are honored to be recognized.

Congratulations to the Columbia Square team!
